Invitation Sets Designed for Facebook, Instagram and Print

Invitation-Comp-JR

I created sets of invitations for Mayor Ritter’s fundraising events during election time. Usually, this included one small color file for posting to her Facebook page, along with a print-quality black and white version. These print files were prepared as either two or four to a page, for mailing. The design featured at the top of this image also included a version sized for an Instagram post.

The first design shown above was for a walking tour of some of the craft breweries and pubs in downtown Vista. It needed to include quite a good amount of information in order for supporters to be able to join in at any point along the tour.

The next set of designs promoted an ice cream social at Peppertree Frosty. The print version which was mailed to supporters included the specific mention of a free ice cream, while the Facebook post did not.

The third set of invitations advertised a tasting and tour event at a local whiskey club, Henebery Spirits. The design of the print version reflects the design of the whiskey label, which is somewhat maintained for the Facebook version.

And finally, the bottom set of designs was chronologically the first fundraising event. Although this was a campaign fundraising event, it served the dual purpose of drawing attention to Partake Gastropub. This popular restaurant was located in an area undergoing substantial road construction. Since wine was served at this event, I created a simple wine-themed invitation.
